Below is a little something I was given by my supervisor ........

The American Association will not be holding a league-wide tryout camp in 2009. Some league members may host their own tryout camp. Information on individual club tryouts will be posted once it becomes available. Players may also be interested in attending the Indy ProShowcase in Jacksonville, FL. Information on the showcase is listed below:

NOW THAT THE TRYOUT SEASON IS OVER YOUR BEST BET IS TO CONTACT THE FIELD MANAGER AS HE CAN WORK YOU OUT IN THE AFTERNOONS WHENT THE TEAM IS PRACTICING. THE PROBLEN IS HIS CELL PHONE IS NOT IN THE PUBLIC ARENA. SO IF SOMEONE MAKES THE CALL AND LINES UP A TRYOUT THEN YOU HAVE YOUR GOLDEN CHANCE. BEST TO ASK WHAT THE TEAN COLORS ARE GOING TO BE FOR THAT AFTERNOON. WEAR A SIMILAR UNIFORM. LETS SAY GREY PANTS AND A NAVY SHIRT. LETS JUST SUPOSE YOU WANT TO BE A PITCHER ON HIS TEAM. YOU WARM UP IN THE BULLPEN AND THE GENERAL MANAGER, FIELD MANAGER AND THE PITCHING COACH WILL EVALUTE YOU. ONCE YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE READY IT IS TIME TO PERFORM.
