I like the 271 - 32" maple I like the look of te 271 and believe that maple is much more durable. Thanks for the opportunity Good Luck to all.

I coach high school and travel ball- do you guys have individual dealers? I know my players like to use wood bats for practice. I could use some for next season as well. Also in the running for a field manager position of an independent team, and we would be looking for a bat sponsorship as well.

will take the good old wooden bats, Mantle, Vern Stephens Etc. Thin handles And light which allowed me to really use my hands and wrists at the point of contact, These young players today do not know how to use their hands and wrist, since they are not taught how to they do not realize the importance of doing so and the importance of pulling the knob back towards the catcher while taking the top hand aggressively to the ball into and through the point of contact. They are satisfied with their basically weak bat drag, late pop up, weak ground ball contact.

The Cape Cod Baseball League starts this Friday! Great baseball for no seat cost, wonderful players  and fans. Do you know about 20% of all current MLB players played in the CCBL ? Thousands of MLB alumni also played here as far back as the 1930's.Check out the Cape league web site to see a who's who of baseball and drop in for a game or two. Several players were in today for bats, 33" model 243 was the choice. Great pitching, hitting and defense await you at the games. Fast paced ,real baseball with wooden bats.

Yesterday an agency of the State of New York proposed that Wiffleball was a dangerous an potentially harmful activity for children that attend summer camps. This game along with dodge ball, tag,red rover and other old school physical exercise pastimes was to be taxed, via a camp fee, to help insure child safety at all levels.Baseball is a game from which Wiffleball was invented,we tag the base runner,we dodge balls in several situations and we too red rover in stealing a base. Why are some children fat ( not a PC term ) , physically unfit and do not participate in sports and have low self esteem? Is it because some book learned group is hoping to save everyone from the horror and pain of being hit by a  ball of some sort, a skined knee or elbow or save a camper the embarrassment of having to participate in a game that they my not be skilled ? I wonder when MLB will require all game attendees to don fan helmets with face guards or better yet go virtual and we will just watch a pro computer created game on the Green Monster screen. No real balls, bats, dangerous base running and for god's sake no human and sometimes wrong umps. Tom
