The Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan has now four potential owners. When the owner is made official , you will have the first opportunity to hold a baseball tournment there in the fall of 2010. When the auction is over, all you would have to do is find out how much it costs. I'm sure it will be way cheaper than Ford Field, even Comerica Park for that matter.

Rumor has it, that the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, has a potential buyer. If this is true, then you will the first opportunity, to hold a baseball there in the fall of 2010. Until then, I will keep you posted on more details.

Technically it is, but the city of Pontiac has been trying to make money off of it since the lions moved out of it in 2003 I believe it was, so while they still have it, it's still being leased out for anybvody who wants to have a baseball tournament next fall, & even if somebody actually does buy it, it will still be available for leasing, because whoever buys it, is going to want to make money off of it, so a baseball tournament will still be able to be played there, if a baseball organization wants to hold a tournament there. Besides it's a heck of a lot better than Ford Field since the Silverdome will be a lot cheaper compared to Ford Field.

The city of Pontiac, Michigan is leasing the Silverdome to anybody who wants to hold a tournament there in the near future, if you know any amateur baseball organization in the state of Michigan that will be interested they can contact the city of Pontiac for more info.
