PECOS LEAGUE OF PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL CLUBS currently has two tryouts scheduled.  November 10th in Mesa, Arizona, and December 1st in Conyers, Georgia.  The league will be announcing an expansion very soon, but the bottom line is that the league will need many more playerd than it used in 2012 and 2011.

The Pecos League is a Independent Minor league that plays From May thru July in the Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.

The Pecos League has sent over 120 players in two years to higher independent leagues as well as MLB organizations.

The tryout will consist of players running the 60, throws from the OF and Inf, fungos, BP, pitchers throwing off the mound to a catcher in front of a radar gun and scouts. Possibility of pitchers throwing to live hitters.

There is a $50 fee for the tryout to defray cost of renting the field and other costs associated with the tryout.  Details and registration forms are on the Pecos League Web site: www.pecosleague.com . If you have questions, please email me at jd.droddy@pecosleague.com .
