I understand that, but I played hurt the first half of the year. If you were to follow my stats after I got my injury taken care of my ERA was a 2.40

Clay if you were given a  chance to sign last year  , you should have taken it. Also you need to get your ERA way down, Your 5.56 ERA in 2011 will get you released fast in indy or affiliate ball. If any player wants to play at the next level they should dominate at the college level. Start dominating at the Div 2 level ERA under 3.00 and opponents batting average under .230 not  .330 like you had.

Anyone giving you advice without researching your playing history is not doing a disservice.

Pro ball is way stronger compeition that college ball.

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Clay VanderLaan and I am a 6'0" 195 lb RHP from Houston, Tx in my senior year of College. I am currently at Cameron University, a D2 in Lawton, OK, prior to here I pitched at Michigan State University of the Big Ten Conference.Although I am talking to different MLB scouts and was given a chance at a free agent contract last summer I realize that there is obviously no garuntee of an affiliated contract after this season, I am reaching out to anyone to tell you my desire of playing professional baseball in any form. If there is any way for someone to come watch me throw this year it would be GREATLY appreciated, I can send you a schedule as soon as one is finalized. Below is some basic info on myself.
