London Mets Baseball Club - Open Training Session Sunday 28th February 11am.

THEN EVERY SUNDAY THERE AFTER!!

......................... WEATHER PERMITTING???!!!! Once the weather has improved we will move to our home ground of FINSBURY PARK.

The London Mets Baseball Club is currently looking for new players of all abilities to become part of our expanding adult baseball programme in 2010. We are looking to recruit players at every level - serious competitors for the NBL or AAA teams - or beginners, rookies and youth players for our A team.

We currently have 3 adult teams looking to take on new players:

London Mets (NBL National Champions 2007 & 2008)
London Metros (British AAA 2008 finalists)
London Marauders (British A)

We will be holding an open training session on Sunday 28th February at Barnard Park in Islington from 11am – 2pm.

Barnard Park is at the junction of Copenhagen Street and Barnsbury Road, Islington N1 0JU. The Park is close to Angel tube. We will be training on a Redgra football pitch area, so the weather should not be a problem. If you need further directions or more information - or if you are a new player and will need to borrow equipment, please let us know.

Hello from the UK!
I am the chairman of the Northwich Baseball Club, a junior club in the North West of England.

We play in our local league as well as going to La-Guerche-de-Bretagne in France for a FANTASTIC tournament. This year, we are hoping to host a tournament in the UK for teams from the US, Germany, France and anybody else who fancies coming our way for fun!

Hi All,

Since I played with Almere '90 (third division) in Holland in 2007, I thought I might join and see what's happening!

Does anyone know a good way to connect with or contact teams in Europe? I'm interested in getting paid, but want the experience as well. The only way I've found progress is by contacting EACH individual team. There's got to be a quicker way.
