Ah yes, I love when people talk about "core" strength... too many kids don't spend enough time on the abs and legs.  Was listening to an interview with Matt Capps the other day on MLB Radio and he spent a few minutes talking about how he trains his core.  That is definitely something I try and convey to the youngsters who want to excel.

Coach Sarte I think they are both important to look at. I spend a lot of time on core strength must injuries occur from having a week core. We also do alot of late shoulder torque drills. I look at their strenght and weaknesses on are video analyzing program. Ito am a big fan of Tom House , Paul Reddick and I like a lot of thinks that Ron Wolforth from Pitching Central does. We work on improving the strenght in the pitchers and also improving on their wekness

Coach Krapf -- I'm a big fan of the Tom House method.. I also love Dick Mills program...  I've had success with young pitchers with both programs and have applied them based on the individual and their strengths vs weaknesses.

any thoughts on one verses the other?

I recently (today), joined checkswing and am excited about this site already.  I've seen a number of very good posts.  I would love to become a part of this site, and give any help where it is needed.  I recently published a book on throwing / pitching aimed at helping parents and coaches of young players teach the correct mechanics at an early age.

Hey All,

I'm looking for a quality pitcher/pitching coach with a really good knowledge of the subject...who might possible be looking to create a product (electronic) for me. I have been creating the hitting side of things with good success and want to branch into pitching.

If someone is willing, I would love to chat about creating a pitching product (written/typed, audio, video, ebook, etc) and pay for your help.

email me at contact@trainbaseball.com
