The Premier Baseball Social Network for Players, Coaches, Scouts, and Umpires

hi all, I am a new bat manufacturer (small operation ran out of my garage) and am look for dimensions on different bat models. I have searched everywhere on the internet and was hoping somewhere would be able to help. I do all my turning by hand, so dimension breakdown would be more benfical then actual templates, but templates would work as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

When I started out, I ordered one unfinished bat in each of the models I was interested in - from a company I buy billets from - and measured.  Then I finished and used those bats, so it wasn't much of an expense.  That being said, I have dimensions for some models which I'd share with you.  Private message me and I'll set you up if I have what you want.

hi do you cup bats I have 4 blem bats that need cupping if you do could i ship to you to get the job done

I don't, Edward.

Joe, most commonly used bats these days have the following diameters : Knob 2", handle at a point 6" from the knob  15/16", barrel 2 7/16" to 2 1/2" at a point 2" from the bat end. Bats now vary very little and tend to copy metal and composite models. Tom at Barnstable Bat Company
