The video was informative, but to obtain it is another thing. Get a solid piece of wood that's about 3 to 4" in depth about 6" wide. The length will have to determined based after setting up drill press table with mounted clamp. Use a piece of 2" diameter PVC pipe and place drill bit into opening for center marker.

Figure out how much of the width u have to cut to fit into the clamp jaws, allowing for space to open and enough compression grip. The length has to be figured out her for the vblock to reach and clamp the PVC pipe, include extra length for overhang. Cut down the middle of block then cutout 90 degree from each side which to form <>.you are going to have to figure out distance of end cut that will secure the barrel. Use the PVC pipe to help with alignment and gripping spots. Get a strong drill press, about 3/4 hp and platform to support bat at knob. I gave you a lot of pieces, you gotta visualize and put it together. Not going to be as fast as pneumatic setup. I'm heading we have lower operating budget.

Wow!! That is awesome. Mine come out pretty clean but definitely not as quick. So you guys designed that machine on your own?

Unfortunately, we can't point you to a place that sells this, but I thought I'd show you what we do. We designed a pneumatic setup.. two v-shaped clamps come in from the sides - and the v-shaped brackets center the bat with the core bit. The horizontal borer then drills the cup. The v-shape brackets auto-center for any barrel diameter.

Here is the video...

I hope this video helps.

Hello fello bat makers, This is a great idea for us to get connected. I was wondering if anyone could give me some help with something. I would love to know the name of the clamp that you guys use for cupping. the clamp I use to hold bats while cupping works well however once in a while the centering may be off plus I really have to struggle to hold the bat still. I was wondering if there is a self centering device i could attach to the drill press or if there is a really good drill press I should look into or something like this.

If its baseball it has to be a wood bat! Anything thing else is cheating.
