Thanks Bill. Actually, that is my lightest bat. The Baum Bat is engineered to -3oz. All my custom bats I have cut at 34.5" with only a 1oz. drop. I request no cupping so in order to get the full barrel, a -1 is the lightest I ask for. I am 46 years old so I come from the old school philosophy of end loaded bats. I just can't zero in on the barrel of a "balanced" bat. I don't worry about getting jammed because most guys throw junk in my league anyway. I stand off the plate too so catchers think they can pitch me away but I just go with it and that is where my tripples come from.
