Guy's if you will think about it and examine the approach to the base ball to point of contact you will notice that when the weight is committed out over the front foot that the head is the culprit, when the head stay's properly aligned with the imaginary vertical line from the ground up , as Ryan Howard explained this in an interview, imagine an iron pipe driven into the ground and using it to align. your body from head to toe and keeping your head, shoulders and hips within a 10 to 15 degrees forward or back of the line, When one leads the forward weight transfer with the head the upper half is forced to commit prematurely out over the front foot, Have a player get into his/her stance, turn the cap around backwards, hold onto the bill tightly and have player attempt to move his/her head forward and commit the weight out over the front foot, "no can do," have players pair up and work with each other doing so.

Mike, I have gone through the Super"8"hitting system that Former Tulane Head coach Joe Brockhoff has on his web. site and I as a very detailed person like it immensely, get on Coach Joe Brockhoff, Learn hitting.com and decide for your self, Let me know what you think.

Dave, I checked out your web site. Between you and me, I have a real challenge to strain you hitting acumen. How would you tell a rookie what good timing is and exactly what he could do to practice it? I have my own detailed plan and strategy, but in this basically unexplored region, I would love to hear anything significant.
