The Red River Adult Baseball League invites all interested players in the Ark-La-Tex area to sign up for its 25+ division. We are a wood bat league that plays a 16-game regular season schedule, plus playoffs. Our season runs from April to the end of August, with practices beginning in late February. - Who is your favorite hitter and why?
- Tony Gwynn - I grew up watching him and I always admired how he could hit to all fields. I am a gap to gap hitter, but I pull the ball 90% of the time. I wish I could go the other way more. Gwynn also didn't strike out much and we have that in common.
- Who is your favorite pitcher and why?
- Nolan Ryan - I grew up in Texas, therefore there is no other choice. He was a gamer and pitched as long as he could.
- More About Me:
- I played at two Division I universities and later joined the MSBL in Shreveport, Louisiana. I am now president of the 25+ division that we call the Red River Adult Baseball League (RRABL).
