In Baseball
DJ was a All State outfielder and pitcher for the Crusaders, DJ posted amazing power and stats to be scouted by the Major Leagues. Mid 90s fastball, hard breaking curve and devastating slider, DJ shut the door on every game he started, finished 6-0 with a .90 ERA and batting .374 with 5 hrs in 29 Games. He was Drafted in the 24th round of the 2002 MLB draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. His contract included a 100,000 dollar signing bonus. His Minor league career was a definite learning experience, coming from a father who was a engineer and from St. Thomas Vi, DJ was fed to the wolves in Pro ball. He hung in there for 5 seasons, with the great games came some bad games too. He reached Triple A with the Dodgers by 21 years old, he was called up from the Rookie leagues and posted his best stats for the Las Vegas 51's, Hitting .260 with a big night against MLB Pitcher Kelvim Escobar. DJ hit his furthest Homerun to date off Escobar in a 13-1 route of the 51's.

DJ (owner of Jackson Sports Group and Two Hands Pro) was a high school and College All American and Nike Athlete. DJ is a 3 sport athlete baseball his first love and then Football and basketball. DJ was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, he reach the AAA level. After a 6 years run in the minor leagues, he re-attended College receiving another full scholarship to Western Oregon University for Football as a runningback. Speed, strength, sport specific training are the core focus of DJ's training regiment, he hopes to provide and develop local grassroots athletes to achieve physical and mental mastering of their sport(s) through private and group training. He intends to help get his up and coming players scholarships to play college sports. DJ is also the inventor of a new training tool called Two Hands Pro, a tool designed to help players learn to catch the baseball using the proper technique.
DJ currently contracts and volunteers with many programs on the west coast such as Nike's projects related to sports training, as well as Baseball NorthWest Show case for high school athletes. He has worked 3 years in the Nike football Training Camps as well as with ESPN's Sparq High School Combines for football known as ESPNHS with Student Sports National Combine and has coached in high caliber baseball tournaments such as the 2012 Northwest Baseball Championship Tournament, which he led his team to a first place championship finish with a Idaho Montana Wyoming region team that has never won in the years the tournament has ran.

For high school and collegiate athletes, he will advise and guide you through the process of competing in sports at the next-level. With his expertise and network available, he hopes to enhance your recruiting to navigate the industry to achieving success in your sport, whether that be participating in the best tournaments/showcase, or playing on the scout/travel teams, and ultimately receiving a scholarship to the college or university of your choice. He hopes to develop a well-rounded academic student-athlete to become a more productive individual through sports, academics and personal development.
