Who is your favorite hitter and why?

Ichiro Suzuki, because he can hit for average/contact or power if the situation calls for it, not to mention impressive speed and baserunning ability, along with a strong, accurate arm from right field, Suzuki is my favorite player to watch.

Who is your favorite pitcher and why?

Tim Lincecum, who despite his small frame is able to be efficient and generate impressive energy and still maintain control of pitches.

More About Me:

Ive played baseball since I was a kid, for a while was away from the game, due to family relocating often, but following high school years, have really come back into gaming form, and would love an opportunity to play for an organized baseball team again, with possibility, even if distant, for advancement into professional level (minors) be it Stateside or overseas.
I have played all outfield positions, hit for average with 33inch, 31oz lumber (-2), namely towards 2nd base and into the gaps. If a pitch is in the right spot, I can put a little charge into it. Ive also experimented with pitching lately, havent been clocked yet, but casually practicing different grips, my best being the 2 seam fastball, 4 seam fastball, and changeup. My attempts at a circle change and curveball have what appears to be proper movement, but control of those is shaky at best. Again, pitching-wise Ive never been evaluated. Its just one of the ways I keep studying the game fresh. I have played a single game at 1st base, and have fielded the position in a handful of practices. Pending evaluation, I feel most comfortable on the basepaths and out in the field. I am very interested in any evaluation offer that comes my way.
