More About Me:
My name is Gary DiSarcina. I played pro baseball from 1988-2002 with the vast majority of it spent with the Angels. In 2005 and 2006, I worked as a baseball analyst, on air, for the Boston Red Sox cable network called N.E.S.N. and did pre and post game work for roughly 40 games a year. For the past 2 years ....I have been a manager in the Red Sox minor league system in Lowell, MA.. which is in the short season NY/Penn League. I played in the big leagues for 12 years mainly as a shortstop but did gain experience both at 2B and 3B as well ....so my expertise is in the infield. I enjoy teaching and connecting with the kids at the minor league level and below AND I am always open to listening to new viewpoints and opinions when it comes to teaching the game of baseball. I have learned a lot from other players/pitchers that I played with and against.... but knowledge can be found anywhere and that is one of the main reasons I took Mike Butcher's advice and joined this site.

Anyway, I bought a program and it I had you pulling off the throw and leap of a double play on my bedroom wall for almost a decade. You quickly became one of my favorite players and I guess I am just writing to say thank you for the way you played the game!
