Inspirational Story / My Old Seattle Mariner Teammate

Baseball Peeps,Recently I reconnected with my Seattle Mariner teammate Brian Holman. I want to share with all of you this story about my teammates son David's perseverance and the Holman family's resilience.I'm asking everyone to read this because too much emphasis has been put on "what team my son is on" or "my son needs to play with a certain group of kids". We all deal with this at some level. I have shared this with every family inside my organization. After reading this story hopefully all…See More

Jeff,

Thanks for the email. We have a great staff, including hitting coaches Kevin Long (NYY), Jim Presley (Orioles), Brook Jacoby (Reds), Ty Van Burkleo (Astros coordinator) and Eric Owens (Dodgers coordinator); pitching coaches Mike Butcher (Angels), Bob Apodaca (Rockies); catching instructors Glenn Sherlock (Dbacks) and Don Wakamatsu (bench coach, Jays) and infield Rob Picciolo (bench coach, Angeles). If you think we could get enough high school kids to do a camp in NC, I'm all ears. You'd be guest instructor for the 3-4 day camp. It's not cheap, as the MLB coaches have to get paid what they are worth, but it'll be a baseball experience those kids will never forget! The clinic was geared for the adult player but we are expanding to the high school kids. Website is www.pro-ball.com. Best, John
