Jeff played baseball for 14 years, lettering all three years in high school baseball and even playing college baseball in the 1990s. He has a passion for baseball and has made it a goal to help as many players as possible with easy-to-learn baseball hitting tips. These tips are for the advanced as well as for those who just want to know how to hit a baseball.
After receiving a Bachelors degree in radio/television production from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), he has worked for ABC News, ESPN, the NHL Hockey Team Nashville Predators, and Fox Sports News.
He also has eight years experience in physical fitness, weight training and healthy nutrition. He has experience teaching children the fundamentals of baseball.
Thanks for the add request. I'm 41 and played ball since age 6. I coach little league and also play Adult League here in Europe. I have great working knowledge of the use of rotation and torque in the swing, being a mechanical engineer familiar with moments of force, I pick up where the 'sportsminded coach' leaves off. Using video analysis coupled with hands on training, most of my players bat for power and average. As a batter myself, I know 'the feeling' something you can't learn from books or video analysis. Anyhow, I love this great game, and discussing it with players from back home would be great. If I can be helpful to you in your recreational career or collegiate one, just let me know. Remember, baseball is a complex sport; nothing dealing with mechanics of a player should be written in stone, if something doesn't work, then find something that does....
