- Joey Votto. He has a great approach and knows how to go the other way...especially with two strikes.

- Brandon Webb, Joe Blanton and Scott Downs...because they pitched for me!

- Pitched at the triple A level at age 19. Coached two years of high school baseball at Lake Wales HS in Lake Wales, FL. I was a graduate assistant coach at Mississippi State under Ron Polk and from there became the head coach at the University of Kentucky at age 26. Coached at Kentucky for 25 years. I am now the National Director of Baseball for SCORE International. www.scorebaseball.org
