Babe Ruth League moratorium on Composite Bats

A few weeks ago I received an email from the Babe Ruth League president that said the following:------TheInternational Board of Directors of Babe Ruth League, Inc. has approved amoratorium on the use of composite bats in the Babe Ruth Baseball 13-15and 16-18 Divisions, effective immediately.  The moratorium shall be in effectuntil further notice by Babe Ruth Headquarters.------The email goes on to say that composite bats may be legal if they are approved by the NFHS.  A list of approved bats is…See More

"Our league only pays umpires at the Babe Ruth level. However, during tournaments, we will bring in paid umpires for the championship games and sometimes the semis for Minor and Major leagues. Paying for T-ball, coach pitch and even machine pitch…"

We've also just recently added the LIVE "Clubhouse Chat" feature. You can chat publicly with CheckSwing community or privately with a friend. It's located on the right-hand side of all CheckSwing.net pages.

You can use CheckSwing.net to track responses to events such as tryouts and tournaments. Your players can customize their pages as their baseball resumes and connect with other players in the baseball community.
