Looking to play in an independent league.

My son is 20, 5'11" and 180 working towards 190.  He is a catcher and is looking for tryouts in an independent league.His pop time has been 1.8-1.9.  Speed is above average for catchers from home to first and in the 60.  We are in the West but he would play anywhere. In this day and age it boils down to who you know in the business but I don't have any connections except  this great website.If  any coaches or scouts out there want more information I can always send his phone number.  Sometimes…See More

Slowly but surely....

Light PT starts in 2 weeks.. Doctor says healing is going good but to continue to use crutches and brace. I am looking forward to playing again.

I had surgery to reattache my left hamstring and seemed to have gone well. They used 5 anchors and screws with some thread. So basically it is no weight on my left leg for 8 weeks and I have to wear a brace. PT starts in the middle of June. I will be back on the diamond in Jan or Feb.



My son and I had a great time in the NABA tourney down in Phoenix in March. Although I tore my hamstring during the first game and could barely walk. I continued to catch for my team the next 3 days.… Continue

Any Kaiser Orthopedic doctors here???

I live in Portland Oregon and need a good orthopedic doctor to reattache a hamstring muscle . I just had an MRI on the 28th and the radiologist said I will need to see one.

Does anyone know what the recovery time from this is?? Thanks all..
