Who is your favorite hitter and why?

Wade Boggs. Consistantly hit in the mid .300s for the first 10 years of his career. His worst every BA was .280. otherwise he'd at the .300 mark every year. Hate that he won a ring with the yanks, but he deserved it. Also like him as a hitter becasue he was one of the only people invited by Ted Williams to sit down and talk hitting.

Who is your favorite pitcher and why?

John Lester. 19- 9 record with a 3.25 ERA. He pitched 208 innings and only gave up 167 hits and 81 runs with 225 strikeouts--oh yeah, and he beat cancer.
