Hi, Patrick, and welcome to checkswing.com. I see you've already been participating in online discussions, but you'll also find that checkswing can be an invaluable resource for finding out about umpiring opportunities locally and globally. I umpired a tournament in Hong Kong during February that I found out about through a connection here on the site, so I can attest to the fact that "relationships" made online online actually work in a real and significant way to advance our umpiring careers.

Most of all, it's a fun and stimulating way to stay in touch with your fellow umpires and get different viewpoints about plays and situations.

Glad you've joined us here,
Perry Barber
