Greetings, Raj, and welcome to Checkswing!

I played with two female baseball players from India at the 2008 Phoenix Cup in Hong Kong... Ekta Khullar and Pallavi Sharma with the WBL North Stars. I know Justine Siegal and Patrick Macauley then traveled to India to help with development. Originally there was some discussion of bringing some American women players in for a kind of "barnstorming" tour to promote the sport. Do you know anything about all of this? I'd love to hear an update and also explore the possibility of either bringing the North American Liberty Belles for an exhibition series or even to explore playing opportunities for American and Canadian players on individual teams.

Welcome to Checkswing! Is there a lot of baseball in India at present? I know there is a women's national team there that participates in the IBAF sanctioned Women's Baseball World Cup every 2 year sin even years.
