A friend of mine, Jim Owens who I played minor league ball with and was pitching coach with Houston when they gave the managers job to Leo Durocher still lives there in Houston, from what he told me his his son was quite a high school pitcher there, besides a couple of pitchers I played with and against in Legion and the Ban Johnson league in KC,Mo. Jim was the most talented pitcher I have ever been associated with.
