Who is your favorite hitter and why?
Historically - I will still argue Ted Williams is the best hitter EVER. Right now - I have to say - I really like what Bryce Harper does at the plate and on the bases.
Who is your favorite pitcher and why?
Roy Halladay as I think he is the only pitcher in the game today that EXPECTS to go 9 innings!
More About Me:
I play in the Kenosha MSBL - 18 and over league. I am 40years old - have bad hips, need to lose 20 pounds but I still LOVE REAL baseball and just cant give it up! I played some very small time Jr. College baseball and have always been the "hustle - grinder - utility type" who was just good enough to make the good teams but never one of the go to guys. It took me until I was old to not only accept that but to also feel like thats pretty cool as I can be inspiration for kids that arent naturally good - but have to work really hard to be pretty good.
