Playing in Australia is a legit experience. You play against top quality players that are signed from pro teams back at home in the U.S.from Independent clubs and big league clubs. The competition, surprisingly enough is pretty legit. The pitching varries however you get guys that throw from mid 80's to low 90's. There aren't many Americans that play in the league due to clubs not paying for flights over here. The teams that do have imports usually don't have any players that are signed. In…See More

played division 1 baseball at Sacred Heart University. I was looked at heavily by San Diego but unfortunately I got hurt and had 2 surgeries. I got hooked up with an Italian scout but fell short one document for dual citizenship. I was added on the international baseball forum and landed here in Sweden where I'm currently playing. In September I will be leaving and playing winter ball in Australia.

Swedish Professional Baseball

Swedish professional baseball consists of 8 teams all over Sweden. They are the Alby Stars, Gefle Baseball Club, Karlskoga Bats, Leksand Lumberjacks, Rattvik Butchers, Stockholm Baseball Club, Sundbyberg Heat, and Tranas Baseball Club. All the teams in the league are actually pretty even. The only difference that each team has is depth of pitching. The pitchers in the league average about low to mid 80's. However everyone in the league can hit and most Swedish ball players are lefties due to… Continue
