Last night I watched a video of Ernie Harwell's farewell visit to the pressroom at the ballpark. The kindness and grace of this man are inspiring. The advantage that a humble man of true faith has is that he fears not for the future, even when the prognosis seems grim. I have some observations and thoughts about this extraordinary man.
