Tracy Hancock commented on Bill Stanton's blog post High School Coach Post-Game Rant: Acceptable or Not?
"I know I will probably get a lot of negative comments but so be it. I really don't have as much of a problem with this as some people may think. Could he have left a lot of F-Bombs out sure, but don't for one second think that those kids…"

High School Baseball Politics

Call me naive, but are not the best ballplayers suppose to be the starters? My boy's first year of B-Team baseball. The first game he was the starting shortstop made no errors, had four assists, did go 0-2 but had 1 quality at bat, but has not seen the field since. I know I will be called biased because he is my son, but my boy plays travel ball with almost all these guys and he is obviously better or at worst as good as anyone on the team. The 3rd baseman (8th grader) has had 12 balls hit to…See More

"1st of all the kid is out of the box and on top of the plate, so I would have instructed my pitcher and catcher to set up inside and throw inside. If it hit him great I should get an out for being out of the batters box, but if the umpire was…"

Tracy Hancock commented on Chris Smith's blog post The baseball season is over and as a player or coach what will you be doing in the off-season to prepare for next year?
"As a coach and father of a 12 year old, I plan to concentrate on speed and agility training and after a short break from the season start a long toss program. I am always reading and looking at new and different ways of improving ones abilities."
