I have lots of opinions about barrel thickness that I will save for anyone who wants them. What I am interested in knowing from those of you who are making bats for Pros is have the barrels gotten…Continue

Hello everyone. I do not know if you have seen the way I make bats, it is on my face book. I use a single cutter, Bulgarian, semi automatic copy machine. I have been having a huge problem getting…Continue

Type of hitter... Power? Average? Slap? Pull?
Funny questions. Yes I am the oldest active first division player in Europe. However, it is only because I live in Ukraine. When I was a hitter, I hit for average and was a very successful opposite field hitter.
If you pitch, what type of pitcher are you... Power? Ground ball, Fly ball, Knuckleball?
I only throw about 75 - 80 now. My out pitch is a change up thrown with the ball tucked into my middle finger which was broken some years ago and seems to give almost a split finger Knuckle ball flight with some speed( well not much any more)

Who is your favorite hitter and why?
Currently Adrian Gonzales. He has for me an excellent approach, keeps his body parallel to the ball that is opens early to the fast ball inside, closes a bit to the outside. He saves his hands while putting his swing into operation, gets very good extension, sees the ball a long time with a very economical approach, no unneeded movement.
Who is your favorite pitcher and why?
Gregg Maddux. Adjusted to the changes in his ability. Pitched, not threw.
Additional Playing/Coaching Info (If applicable, include detailed info here such as - HS, College, Pro Leagues, Summer Leagues, Arm Speed, 60 Time, Catcher Pop Time, etc.):
Funny questions. Believe it or not at 63 my catcher pop time is consistently below 2:15. I cannot run anymore knees done, but
