Dante Bichette & sons hitting lesson

"Before I begin I would like to, as everyone else should do is to commend Dante, due to the fact that he totally, unselfishly packed his bags during spring training and went home to be with his son who,if I am not mistaken, at the time was a {12year…"

Samuel South training video 4/26/13

"How is that youngster doing overall?  First off I would prefer him to keep his head very still, any head movement prior to or during the approach to contact will  greatly distort his vision, never base one's hitting abilities on how…"

Profile Information

six feet tall
Type of hitter... Power? Average? Slap? Pull?
power, pull
If you pitch, what type of pitcher are you... Power? Ground ball, Fly ball, Knuckleball?
Power, mostly due to the fact that I left professional ball holding a league leading home record and as close as I could find in the sparsely kept records,{102} RBI'S and {23} doubles.
I currently:
Coach Baseball, Am a Hitting Instructor, Am a Pitching Instructor, Enjoy watching games
Baseball Playing Experience:
American Legion, Minor League, 18+, 30+, 40+
Baseball Coaching Experience:
Little League, American Legion, College, 18+, 30+, 40+, 50+
Baseball Umpiring Experience
Softball Playing Experience:
Who is your favorite hitter and why?
The great one"Mr. Ted Williams" because he was so ultimately intricate in the way he approached the technique to making good consistent hard contact to all fields.
Who is your favorite pitcher and why?
Trevor Bauer, although I am not in favor with him changing his body moving mechanics which now does not allow for his hips/ body to lead the way, now his arm is executing most of the physical work instead of his body.
Additional Playing/Coaching Info (If applicable, include detailed info here such as - HS, College, Pro Leagues, Summer Leagues, Arm Speed, 60 Time, Catcher Pop Time, etc.):
I do not recognize {60 }yard sprint times as legitimate running times for baseball players, baseball running distances are basically short anaerobic sprints, not sustained aerobic distances. although baseball players absolutely do need to have an aerobic training base.
More About Me:
I played in the Philadelphia organization And have coached high school, college players and various age groups for several seasons. my main learning asset beyond my playing times is my long persistent hours of seeking out and picking the minds of the most experienced and knowledgeable experts of the game which has assisted me greatly during my venture to becoming a keen student of various aspects of the game.
