seabook up, no outs, runners on 1st and 2nd

br bunts, runners off with the pitch.

pitcher makes a great scoop off of a soft line drive.its a catch, plate ump rings him up.

pitcher runs at r-2 and tags runner out unassisted.

(Uh-Oh) plate ump calls time.

I turn and see r-1 now on 2nd

r-1 and r-2 off with the pitch,br bunts.

That is an awesome story, sorry for your loss.  Meeting Jackie Robinson must have been unbelievable.

thanks for the comment.  Yes, his strengths are probably defensive catching and game mgt.  he is just now developing more pop strength, at 13 he was 2.6 seconds with a 71mph throw.  So he needs to work on footwork and transfer to get the time down, but then again, that was his very first official formal timing and a high school camp.  He hopes to get it down to less than 2.3 and close to 2.2 by the time he starts his freshman year.  he figures that will help him be at 2.0 or below by his senior year.
