I don't mind earning my playing time, it's just I don't like when managers tell me that they are going to start me, or put me in the game and when I get there, I find out that they've lied in my face, I am the kind of person who like to be told things ahead of time. If a manager tells me that I might not play until the following season unless they are in an emergency situation, tell me early enough so I can prepare for that. When I was pitching I'd prefer to be a closer because knew that I wasn't going to be playing that much going in to the league. I just don't like being lied to that's all. As far as the practice go, I am going to come, but unfortunately my finances isn't in good enough shape that I can come to practice that soon, but come February 15 my finances will be in order so I will be able to come to practice that month.
About that, I haven't played because I was frustrated at the treatment that I was getting from teams in the league. As well I am a part time designated hitter, but again I was never able to get any playing time. I don't have any good numbers as far as hitting goes, but I know the science of hitting, and I have a high on base percentage when I did finally got the chance to play. So If that's good enough for them, then have them get in contact with me, and we can see how far we can take it from there.
I am having a hard time getting playing time, especailly on the pitchers mound. I feel that I am the best pitcher in the game, but yet I am not getting the opportunity to prove it. I have been on three teams in michigan and each time I've gotten no respect. In fact they treated me like a person who couldn't play because I don't have the hollywood good looks that the players in the pros have. I am better than the pros and I want to have a chance to prove it. I realize that I am more in demand in tournaments than in league play. I am the best when the lights is shining the brightest and that's when we are playing for the championship. With that said, can you PLEASE talk to Mike Juliano about starting an additional tournament in Michigan, because the tournament in St. Clair Shores is nothing but a joke.
