Good stuff Kirby! Kirby came out with a very commanding changeup on Sunday mixing it in with a great spot fastball. The Astros played great defense behind him and came through with some timely hitting late in a tied ball game. Ric Akers said… - Thanks for the feedback on the video. I know alot of people teach to keep the elbows down in an inverted "V", which is great. However, we purposely put his elbow up to remind him on the load the bat should go straight back, following the point of the elbow. This helps kids who have a tendency to drop their hands or dip. And he is one of those kids who tends to get "sloppy" when he gets to much confidence.
