EWBC 15U Girls Team Looking for Players

The EWBC is a women's regulation baseball league, founded in 1990, that is made up of 5 teams in the Baltimore - Washington DC corridor. We are an IRS sanctioned non profit charity that is chartered to train girls and women for International baseball tournament competition.

Chelsea Baker... 13-year old knuckle balling phenom!

Catch the ESPN story on Chelsea Baker, a 13-year old pitcher who throws a menacing knuckle ball... and who's the only girl on her youth baseball team. Chelsea has recently thrown 2 perfect games and almost throw a 3rd one, giving up just 1 hit and 1 run in a game. She hasn't lost a game in 4 years!!!

Liberty Belles Shining with Silver

The North American Liberty Belles were very strong in our performances at the 2009 Hong Kong Phoenix Cup International Women's Baseball Tournament in Kowloon, Hong Kong, China from February 14-17, and thus, we were undefeated in all of our games leading up to the championship match. I started playing organized fast pitch softball at age 10, but my heart always has been in baseball. I played softball only because of not having an opportunity to play baseball. I played sandlot baseball with my sister, cousins, and friends growing up. I didn't get the chance to play REAL baseball until I was an adult.
