NEW YORK – A rule change that began this season in New York City’s Public School Athletic League has tweaked the meaning of "you’re out" in baseball.



It used to be only three strikes. Now, it’s also 105 pitches.

Celebrating The Life of a Great Man

It's been a rough couple of days for myself and many people who were fortunate enough to have Tom Laprade as a part of their life.  This past Friday night, Tom passed away unexpectedly.

I don't know if it's a good idea to write this blog, but those of you who makeup CheckSwing have become my extended family and Tom is one of us.
