The Premier Baseball Social Network for Players, Coaches, Scouts, and Umpires

Baseball coaching tip of the day.

A line I like to share with my students and other coaches comes from the incomparable Coach John Wooden - “It’s what you learn after you know it all that counts.”
Couldn't agree more - even to this day after 30 years of coaching I learn something new each day.
Never think you have all the answers or stop their study of the game.
Know how and be willing to adjust to your team’s personality and talent level.
Don't get stuck in your ways and try to make players something they are not or you will ultimately fail them.
