It's Your Baseball Community

As new players and coaches join CheckSwing.net, the community is getting more and more exciting. Players and coaches are connecting with friends from their past that they have not seen or talked to in years! One of the great things about playing ball is the camaraderie that's established on the field and in the dugout. Lifelong friendships are formed from playing ball with someone. If you know any teammates from previous teams that you've played on in college, high school, or any other team, create a team alumni group and invite them to join. It's a great way to keep in touch and even make new friends with players who have played before or after you.

Do you know that every CheckSwing member has his/her own blog? Think of it as your own space where you can share your experiences playing ball or just publish your thoughts on some aspect of the game of baseball. Did you ever want to author your own baseball column? Is there something unique about your team or league? Did something exciting happen in a recent game you played in? Post it to your blog and feel free to add photos as well! It can be as short as a couple sentences or a full article - It's totally up to you! To see all of the blog postings from other CheckSwing members, click the Blogs menu tab. TIP: If you have a photo that you want to appear in the blog summary, be sure to put it as the first thing in your blog post.

There's so much you can do on CheckSwing, and sometimes I forget that everyone may not be sure how to do a certain thing. If you have any questions on how to do something on the site, please post it to the CheckSwing Help / FAQ category in the Forum. If you have any tips or answers for fellow members, please post them there as well. New members will then be able to search the discussions for help!
