The Allegany County Nitros of the New York Collegiate Baseball League will have at least six freshman on their team this summer. All will be counted on heavily to contribute to the Nitros this summer.

Mike Tamburino is a pitcher for Pace University. He is 6-3/ 200 pounds and hails from Baldwin, NY. He prepped at Holy Trinity High School.

Thomas Towles is a pitcher for Transylvania. He is 6-3/180 pounds, and he is from Ft. Thomas, KY. He played high school ball at Highlands High School.

Joe Dorocak is first baseman from Dayton. He is 6-3/ 170 pounds, and is from Parma, OH. He played high school baseball at St. Ignatius High School.

Tyler Lehman is a utility player from Francis Marion University. He is from Rock Hill, SC, and went to Northwestern High School.

Matt Zajac is from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is a 6-2/210 pound third baseman, and is from Pine Brook, NJ.

Kevin Kiermaier is from Parkland College. He can play both in the infield and outfield. He hails from Fort Wayne, IN.
