Not 2, but 3 Contest Winners!! - Blog & Win an A-Bat Pro Maple Fungo Bat from Superior Bat Company

Last month, CheckSwing launched a promotion with Superior Bat Company to give away Two (2) A-Bat Pro ... to deserving baseball coaches who wrote informative blogs here on CheckSwing.

There were quite a few well written, informative blogs written. It was tough to pick two winners, so.. we picked THREE WINNERS!

Here are the three winners and the great blogs they wrote:

Rodney Thompson - Thanks Rodney for writing this blog, Top 6 Things to Remember When You Try Out For a Team Rodney illustrates that hustle and hard work never go out of style.

Andy Barkett - Thanks to Andy for his many informative blog posts, but this recent one stood out, How Can I Help My Son Play College Baseball? Parents struggle with all the choices available in helping kids move to the next level, but Andy lays out a plan that we can all learn from.

Pat Crofoot - Thanks Pat for your blog, Little League Practice Plan Excellent advice that can be used by many of us on the field.

Thanks to all CheckSwing members who wrote blogs and special thanks to Rodney, Andy and Pat who will each receive a very nice A-Bat Pro Maple Fungo bat from Superior Bat Company!

Pat, Something we have implemented at the end of every practice is a drill we call "Big 3." We set up a situation for example bottom of 7th, defense has 1 run lead and then play a mini scrimmage. If the defense holds they win, if offense scores 2 they win. We also attach a Win or a Loss to all defensive players and all hitters who participate. Our kids have really bought into it.

Awesome!!! And if anyone has a way to maximize your time between drills let me know. I have 4 practices before opening day. 4! to figure out my pitching staff and catching staff, let alone get in real practices.
