Baseball coaching tips of the day.
If you want to remember something, it certainly helps to write it down. The same goes for teaching players. If you want them to learn show it to them in writing or video to reinforce the spoken word. Players do not learn with words alone.
Give out written information, at least occasionally. Any tangible things that bolster their learning is good. It is also a sign of a caring coach. Also, kids enjoy receiving things even if it is just homework assignments.
Hang signs with key coaching tips for the day for kids to see when they get to practice. Written words for player viewing give a visual to what coaches speak about. Remember, putting a visual with the spoken word helps learning and remembering.
Be the best
