Learn lessons from the 2011 World Series:

1- Teams should practice pop-up priority regularly.

2- Catch pop ups and fly balls with 2-hands over the throwing shoulder

3- Never say die.

As an umpire it's never to early to work on  technique. "Practice it in front of the mirror". Study the rule book. I always get involved with the rules interpreter and mentor rookies through the classes in the cold nights of January in some drafty gym and help with field mechanics.

Your never to old to improve on your craft. "Always remember the show isn't about Umpires".

Get better on and off the field.  Put in the work hit the books an help the younger players.  Yesterday is gone, get it done today, cause tomorrow is promised to know one. Pain and adversity have no endurance.  Play hard and don't look back.  I wish everyone a great 2012 season.  Dillon!

I am looking to attend the American Baseball Institute in the winter of 2012 to revive my baseball skills and playing potential and get seen by professional scouts (Independent and MLB) and get signed to a minor league deal and make it to the big leagues from there, and have a sucessful 15 year playing career.

To stay healthy on this upcoming year. To continue to do great conditioning training with my trainer during the offseason and to be the best player in the field as off the field that I can be. Give back as much as I can to the communities and children in needs. To stay bless with my wonderful family. :-)
