i totally agree but i ask this because their are many other occasions in this game where those pitches are clearly strikes but the umpire said after the game he called thm balls because he doesnt think 13 and 14 yr olds should be throwing curves

One of 3 things. Don't allow him to ump. Don't throw curve balls. Don't swing at curve balls.
