This is me swinging my practice wood bat which is a 34/33 which is 4 more ounces than what I usually use(32/29 is what I use). I would like to have everyone's opinion on my swing. Thanks, Sawyer

Hey ,Sawyer,
How ya doin?
Lets start from scratch, before I make any suggestions on some adjustments I feel would help you be able to make more consistent hard bat to ball contact I would like to have written and visual information as to how you mentally prepare yourself for each time at bat in the dugout, then mentally and physically on the on deck circle and in the batters box "PLATE COVERAGE" "STANCE" "PRE- SWINGS" reading the pitchers habits as he should be reading the hitters habits he faces etc. from the front and both side views hitting off the tee and live pitching with whoever throws to you throwing from a mound, not flat ground, move your plate out to 40 to 45 feet from the rubber or put out a portable mound, have a catcher behind you so whoever throws has a target to throw to, then after a few pitches to your desire have your thrower give you game type pitches"BREAKERS ETC." at random, moving the ball around, up and down, in and out. along with regular motion, slow and step motion video clips are very very helpful with the teaching process . what I ask of you here is getting as close as possible to game type situations, there are different pictures, "VIEWS" and pressures within each batting segement I ask you to perform. for one to acquire the success that one is physical and mentally capable of accomplishing one must practice regulary under situations that "CORRELATE" with game type situations, one must also have the opportunity to practice and play in a pleasant environment and atmosphere created first by their coach or coaches, overflowing on to each and every player on a team. it is great to see you and the others on this web site who want to learn to become better and will ask for assistance from others. Let me know what you think.

Pretty good. Need video from the other side. You are generally in the high level pattern. However, you can be more sudden and more explosive by developing some resistance within the loading of the swing. You currently 'push' the bat instead of getting the added speed and quickness and suddenness from 'whipping' the bat. The difference is very subtle....yet very large in results.
